Who are We? by Jessica Kirkpatrick, who asks for input on what readers think are the interesting/important topics to bring up on the blog and Dual-Career Academic Couples, by Hannah Jang-Condell, who summarizes a recent report by the Clayman Institute for Gender Research entitled "Dual-Career Academic Couples: What Universities Need to Know" (Schiebinger, Hernderson, amp; Gilmartin)

2. Ntampaka and Sampath selected as 2012 Blewett Fellows

The Blewett Fellowship was established from a generous bequest from M. Hildred Blewett, an accelerator physicist who died in 2004. Hildred Blewett was passionate about physics and wanted to help women overcome obstacles by establishing the fellowship. 3. L'Oreal USA Announces Recipients of 2012 For Women In Science Fellowships

L'Oreal USA today announced the recipients of the 2012 L'Oreal USA Fellowships For Women In Science. The L'Oreal USA program is a national initiative that annually recognizes and rewards five U.S.-based women researchers early in their careers. Recipients each receive up to $60,000 towards their postdoctoral research.
